Annual Tradition
Lyndon Fall Weekend for Alumni & Families
The Alumni Council's signature fall event — created to keep autumn homecoming alive after the university moved the official celebration to spring. Alumni return from across the country every September.
Spring Homecoming 2026
The official VTSU Homecoming, moved to late April to align with Spring Day, GreggFest, and commencement celebrations for graduating seniors.
Athletic Hall of Fame
Honoring Lyndon's finest athletes since 1983. New inductees celebrated each fall at the Alumni Weekend banquet.

Class of '86
Jim Cantore
One of America's most recognized broadcast meteorologists, Jim has covered every major storm on The Weather Channel since graduating from Lyndon's Atmospheric Sciences program. A White River Junction, VT native and proud Hornet.

Nick Gregory
Nick has been a fixture on New York City television since 1986 — the longest-serving broadcast meteorologist at a single station. His career is a testament to the strength of Lyndon's broadcast and atmospheric sciences tradition.

Class of '81
André Bernier
A two-time Emmy winner, André was among the first on-camera meteorologists when The Weather Channel launched in 1982. He spent 36 years at Fox 8 Cleveland before retiring in 2024 — plus he's an ordained minister and documentary filmmaker.
